Yellow-napes are endangered in their natural habitat which can be found along the Pacific Slope of Central America, in Southern Mexico and North-western Costa Rica.

Yellow Napes are loved for their intelligence, clowny personality, and impressive talking and singing abilities, enhanced by their great sense of pitch. When talking, they display an amazingly human-sounding voice.  A healthy amazon parrot can live 50 to 60 years or even longer with good nutrition and care.

RED FRONTED MACAWS

About Red Fronted Macaws: 

Red Fronted Macaws fledge mostly green with turquoise tail and wing feathers and only a red spot on each side of their cheek.  They also have orange on the front edge of their wings and under their wings which is visible in some of the pictures below.  They develop more red and orange markings as they age.  They are smaller than other Macaws such as the Blue & Golds, Scarlets, Greenwings, etc.   This makes them more adaptable to homes in a residential neighborhood.  Following are pictures of their parents to give you an idea of what to expect them to look like when they mature.

PARROT BREEDER CAGES FOR SALE

This cage is made of heavy gage wire and is suitable for all large birds.    The price of this cage with the nest box is $150.00.  This is a bargain price for this cage.  The materials and nest box cost more than the price of the cage.  If needed, this cage can be disassembled for transport.   Cage size: 4½' long X 4' wide X 4' high                                              Wire spacing is 2" X 4"

This cage is suitable for smaller parrots.   It is not recommended for macaws.  The price of this cage with the nest box is $100.00   Cage size: 5' long X 3' wide X 3' high                                                                    Wire spacing is 1" X 2"
